Warehouse Operative

Browny Logistics require warehouse operatives for our company based in Anyaa (Awoshie-Ablekuma)

Job description:

As part of the warehouse / delivery team, you will be required to work within a fast paced environment. Attention to detail and an ability to follow set working policies and procedures is required to thrive within the warehouse environment- full training will be given. Duties include but not limited to the following:

  • Unloading shipping Containers
  • Loading/Unloading vans for delivery
  • Wrapping pallets/boxes/drums and preparation of packages for delivery.
  • General warehouse duties including tidying up the warehouse / work area
  • Delivering customer packages to their specified locations- Outside Accra locations included.
  • Report/ feedback to management on work progress as set.
  • Any other duties as required

Qualifications:

  • An ability to read and write

***candidates must be physically fit due to the nature of the work***.

 

Working hours

7am-6pm Monday to Saturday

* Early and late hour working may be required.

* Sunday working may be required

 

Pay

Starting pay 800 ghs per month

Warehouse Manager/Administrator

Browny Logistics Ghana require a Warehouse Manager/Administrator for our warehouse in Anyaa (Near Awoshie, Ablekuma) to oversee and coordinate the receiving, storage, sorting and dispatching of packages to their end location. You will be responsible for managing the security, maintenance, sanitation, and administrative functions of the organization. You will oversee, train, evaluate and reward staff. You will ensure the maintenance of all company assets. You must have excellent oral and written communication skills. Numeracy and an understanding of word document for managing clients information is required. You must  have the ability to inspire, lead and motivate a team of people, delegate work and explain ideas  as well as team working skills.

Duties include:

– submitting timely reports on progress of all departments to senior management.
– Liaising with external agencies / partners
– Planning of delivery route
– Coordinating the offloading of shipping container

-supervise, train and evaluate staff

-ensure the effective running of day to day activities within the organization.

– General warehouse duties

-Any other duties as set by senior management.

Qualifications:

  • An ability to read and write
  • Experience in working within a similar role may be beneficial but not essential.
  • knowledge of Word and Excel required-training can be given
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Admin/Front desk Operative

Browny Logistics Ghana is looking for a warehouse admin/front desk operative for our warehouse in Anyaa (Near Awoshie, Ablekuma) to oversee the daily management of the office. This includes receiving, issuing and dispatching stock and handling of communication between the organization and customers.

As an Admin/Front desk operative, you will be responsible for data entry and inventory of all stock. This involves processing receipts, taking records and documentation  of all orders. You may be required to divide your time between working in the office and in a busy warehouse facility and will report directly to the Warehouse Manager. Duties include but not limited to:

  • Assist Management in coordinating the timely delivery of all customer shipments.
  • Inform customers about their shipment and delivery  schedules
  • Answer queries relating to the business as required.
  • Handling interaction between the company and clients.
  • Keeping an inventory and maintaining data.
  • Provide office support to  business.
  • Handling telephone calls.
  • Receiving and directing visitors as required.
  • Word processing, creating spreadsheets and presentations and general filing duties.
  • Any other duties as required.

Qualification:

  • Minimum of Secondary School education level
  • Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Word document and Spreadsheet.

Working hours

8am – 5pm, Monday- Friday

* some early / late hour working may be required.
* some weekend working  may be required
